Busy Philipps, 37, and Michelle Williams, 36, just jumped on one of social media’s most popular trends: the makeup-free selfie.
And we’re so pleased they did!
Taking to Instagram, Busy shared a completely stunning and completely bare-faced snap of herself and best friend Michelle, alongside a heartfelt caption.
“No makeup no filters! That’s how we roll!,” she wrote, before adding: “I’m sad we don’t get to live in the same place but yesterday was a perfect day together and just what I needed for my soul and that’s what best friends are for, right?”
The caption continued: “To show up when you need them most and remind you of who you are and why you are and that no matter what, it’s all ok cause you will always have each other.”
The BBFLs, who first met on the set of their hit late 90s show, Dawson’s Creek, uploaded the image after a long day of shopping, wine sipping and art watching — which, of course, was well-documented on Busy’s addictive Instagram page.
The duo spent a particularly large amount of time exploring the Broad Museum in Los Angeles, known for its Instagram-worthy appeal as much as its focus on contemporary art.
Earlier in the year, the best friends — who are each other’s perpetual red carpet plus-ones — attended the Academy Awards together.
“I’m so in love with her,” Michelle told People at the star-studded event.
Michelle and Busy held hands as they took a turn down the 2017 Oscars red carpet.
“She’s proof that the love of your life does not have to be a man!”
She added: “That’s the love of my life right there.”
