Australia’s most iconic trainer Michelle Bridges has just waltzed into her 51st year, and she has marked her monumental occasion with an epic throwback.
On her Instagram, she rang in her birthday with a sizzling picture from a photo shoot, and she looks incredible.
She captioned her stunning shot, “Time for some birthday fun! 🥳.”
Of course, what’s a birthday without the support of your friends?
Michelle reposted an Instagram story shared by her friend and former Celebrity Apprentice co-star Anthony Callea.
The singer and songwriter uploaded a picture of the pair brushing their teeth in a bathroom, and after sending his well wishes, he joked about the quality of his post.
“Happy Birthday @mishbridges.
“This is the nicest pic I have of us… soz!” he wrote.
An endeared Michelle captioned his message, “Thanks babe.”
Phoebe Burgess’ sister Jemima Fairbanks has helped kick off celebrations by attending a workout with the reality star.
Michelle posted a sweaty selfie of them from after their workout session, and she wrote, “Birthday workout #1 complete with my mate @jemimafairbanks #sweatyfaces.”
Most people wouldn’t dare to exercise on their birthday, but Mich has served some convincing inspiration.
Yesterday, the mum to young Axel took some time out of her busy schedule to transform her beauty look.
On Instagram, she revealed the results of her latest hairdresser appointment with a car selfie.
“Fresh new hair,” she wrote.
The star got a trim, some extra highlights, and a confidence boost a fresh mane can only provide.
Last year she opened up to Who Magazine about her feelings towards the big 5-0, and her sentiment was instantly relatable.
“I’m OK with it. It beats the alternative, right?” she shared.
Of course, after five decades, it’s likely those in their 50s have new insights that would have helped them immensely during their 20s.
Michelle revealed that if she could tell her 25-year-old self-anything it would be to “always be yourself,” and to “set boundaries.”
“That’s probably one of the biggest things I’ve learned for myself this year. You’d think I’d know that by now, right?
“I’ve become much better at setting boundaries for myself and in my life. I’m much clearer also on what I will and won’t accept. The main thing though is love. It sounds so cheesy, but it’s 100 per cent true,” she said.
