Melissa McCarthy and her husband Ben Falcone have worked together on a number of films – including smash hit Bridesmaids – and now, they’ve teamed up together for The Boss.
“He’s my favourite person to write with – we met writing – so it’s an absolute dream,” Melissa, 45, told The Weekly Online.
“I wish I could say the same thing,” Ben, 42, laughed.
Attending the Australian premier of The Boss in Sydney, Melissa said she believed the secret to a successful marriage was having “patience and kindness.”

“It’s also just so fun working together,” she revealed.
“We’ve bombed on stage together so many time that there’s nothing for us to be precious about,” she laughed.
“But, it’s nice to talk about what you did together during the day and having your favourite person knowing what’s actually going on in your day.”
The hilarious duo, who have been married for ten years, arrived in Sydney on Saturday and couldn’t contain their excitement at being Down Under.
“It feels dandy! We’re just hoping we can squeeze in as many things as possible,” she said.
The Boss opens nationally on April 14.
