Actress Melissa George arrived at a French police station at 3am on Wednesday morning with bruises on her face after she was allegedly struck by her partner of four years, Jean-David Blanc.
According to local news site Pure People, the 40-year-old star also complained of feeling faint and dizzy.
Melissa was then taken to Cochin Hospital in Paris, where she lives with the 38-year-old businessman and their two kids Raphaël, two, and Solal, 10 months.
M6info reports, “According to statements by the actress … she was assaulted by her companion. The police were called last night to intervene in the centre of Paris.”
“In shock, Melissa George, had a swelling of the face and complained of pain, nausea and dizziness.”
The former Home And Away star met Jean-David at a BAFTAs after party in 2011 and began dating in 2012. She was married to Claudio Dabed for 11 years before the couple announced their divorce in 2011.
The couple share a two-year-old son Raphaël and 10-month-old son Solal
