Aussie actress Margot Robbie and her husband Tom Ackerley are one of Hollywood’s most low-key couples, always managing to stay under-the-radar and rarely appearing in public together.
But now the 29-year-old has given fans a rare insight into her personal life with Tom, and even revealed a secret bedroom habit that her hubby really isn’t a fan of.
Despite the fact that she’s one of the world’s best paid actresses and has been nominated for countless awards, the Gold Coast native still sleeps with her favourite childhood toy, a stuffed toy rabbit she called “bunny”.
The Chanel ambassador said her husband Tom, with whom she founded film and TV production company LuckyChap Entertainment, certainly isn’t thrilled about sharing a bed with Margot’s very old childhood toy.
“My husband always throws Bunny out of the bed because he obviously thinks it’s a tad ridiculous that I still sleep with Bunny,” Margot revealed on W Magazine’s Five Things With Lynn Hirschberg podcast this week.
“Bunny just kind of rolls wherever, she’s kind of filthy by this point.”
She added that her hubby doesn’t love the fact that he often plays second fiddle to a stuffed animal.
‘”Maybe he’s a little jealous that Bunny always gets priority place in the bed,” Margot joked.
The Bombshell star said her husband often throws the toy off the bed and onto the floor, much to his wife’s dismay.
“He thinks I’m asleep and he’ll throw Bunny out of the bed and I get so cross with him and I’m like, ‘Don’t you throw the rabbit!'”
Margot and Tom first met on the set of French film Suite Française in 2014 and were married two years later in a Byron Bay ceremony.
Although she was born and raised on the Gold Coast, Margot now lives in Los Angeles with Tom.
The pair were actually friends and housemates for years, before Margot decided she wanted to pursue a romantic relationship with Tom.

“I was the ultimate single gal. The idea of relationships made me want to vomit. And then this crept up on me,” Margot told US Vogue.
“We were friends for so long. I was always in love with him, but I thought, ‘Oh, he would never love me back. Don’t make it weird, Margot. Don’t be stupid and tell him that you like him.’ And then it happened, and I was like, ‘Of course we’re together. This makes so much sense, the way nothing has ever made sense before’.”
Too cute!
