The news was announced today via an announcement on Manu’s Facebook page. He sahred an adorable photo of the bub’s feet, accompanied by the caption: “Welcome to the new love of our lives into this world.”

While the couple are yet to confirm if they’ve named their new arrival, they confirmed the gender when they first made the pregnancy announcement.

“My fiancée Clarissa and I are expecting a little girl,” Manu gushed on social media when the pair first announced that they were expecting.

“We are over the moon and can’t wait to meet our daughter.”

Manu is already a dad to 10-year-old son Jonti, whom he shares with former partner, Veronica Morshead. The new bub will be Manu and Clarissa’s first child together.

The 41-year-old hunky chef turned entertainer first met Clarissa, a jewellery designer from Perth back in 2011. The pair got engaged back in 2013, and Manu has said that it was the baby that caused them to postpone their wedding date.

“The baby came before… we were supposed to get married first so everything has been changed!” he recently told the Daily Mail.

Manu was seen sticking close to Clarissa ahead of their baby’s due date, with the pair recently enjoying a day frolicking at the beach with Jonti.

Family man Manu tweeted on the day: “Morning swim in the ocean with the family and the best Australian seafood… this is life!”

With the baby arriving not long after the latest season of My Kitchen Rules hits the air, viewers can expect to see some changes shaking up the MKR cast this season, with new Irish judge Colin Fassnidge, 42, said to be stepping up where the gruelling filming schedule proves to be too demanding for a new dad.

“It’s a tough ask for anyone, and with his daughter due any week now, Manu wants to spend more time at home with his fiance Clarissa and son Jonti.” a set insider told Woman’s Day in the lead up to the show’s launch.

Wishing the happy couple many congratulations on their special new arrival!
