Fans know Luke Mitchell best for his portrayal of heartthrob Romeo in Home and Away and Will on H2O: Just Add Water, but the hunky star looks unrecognisable in his latest role.
The 37-year-old’s career has gone from strength to strength since taking on Hollywood, and his new TV series is testament to his success.
Taking to Instagram this week, Luke shared a photo from the set of Big Sky, an American crime thriller series.
Luke, who is married to his former Summer Bay co-star Rebecca Breeds, plays the role of Cormac Barnes.
In the photo, Luke stands beside his co-stars, country music legend Reba McEntire and CSI: Miami star Rex Linn, who play his on-screen parents.
“Meet the Barnes family!” Luke captioned the snap.
Luke looked worlds away from his Home and Away days, sporting a thick beard and long hair.
The Aussie actor‘s fans couldn’t get enough of his new gig, with many praising him for landing a role alongside A-list stars.
“Reba & Rex are gonna play your Mama & Daddy?!?! Can’t wait to watch! So excited for this season!” one fan wrote.
“Dude how freaking cool!” another comment read. “I live for this.”
Luke has gone on to star in a number of international roles since he and Rebecca departed the sandy shores of Summer Bay.
He starred on The Republic of Sarah and Vampire Diaries spin-off Legacies as well as NBC’s Blindspot and ABC’s Marvel’s Agents of S.H.I.E.LD.
Meanwhile, Rebecca, who played Ruby Buckton on Home and Away, had roles in Pretty Little Liars and a lead role in The Silence of the Lambs series Clarice.
