Australian actress Lisa McCune has dismissed reports she was left heartbroken by her lover Teddy Tahu Rhodes’ recent sex tape scandal.
Speaking for the first time about the tape, which involves Teddy and another woman, Lisa says she is far from heartbroken and called those reports “baloney”.
“I actually think it is quite funny because apparently I’m heartbroken, which I’m not,” she told the Daily Telegraph at the King and I press conference at The Princess Theatre today.
“Everybody is happy and Teddy is doing well.”
As reported in Woman’s Day this week, it’s not clear when the explicit home movie was filmed nor who leaked it to the media, but it appears to show naked Teddy, 47, engaging in intercourse with a beautiful brunette.
This is not only the first time the four-time gold Logie winner has spoken about the sex tape, but also the first time she has acknowledged the pair’s relationship.
So far, Lisa has kept a dignified silence on the topic since the pair co-starred together in South Pacific two years ago. The couple, who were both married at the time, were photographed kissing, cuddling and fondling each other in public.
They have now teamed up once again to perform in King and I.
“To be honest, I am having such a delightful time doing theKing and Iand that is my focus,” she added.
“It is not even worth talking about, it is such baloney and I’m just going to move through it.”
