In 2016, Lisa and Mark’s adventure truly began when they celebrated their engagement with friends and family. The loved-up pair were all smiles for the big event.

And then came the wedding bells! On May 11 2018, the pair made things official with a gorgeous wedding on Queensland’s Sunshine Coast. Their vows revealed the pure, undisputed extent of their love for one another: “Lisa is beautiful inside and out,” Mark said. “We share the same dreams and plans. She is my soul mate.”
Lisa echoed his words: “He makes my heart sing, he cares about me, he listens to my stories, even if I tell them to him three times. He laughs at my jokes and fixes anything and everything.”

Lisa promised to “age gracefully” with him, and will continue to love him “just a little more every day”. She was joined by her I’m A Celebrity jungle mates, Keira Maguire, Natalie Bassingthwaite, Tegan Martin and Julia Morris for the big day.

Her vows have remained – these two have continued to go from strength to strength over the years – even when faced with the tragic passing of Lisa’s daughter, Jaimi Lee Kenny.

In September 2020, Lisa and her former husband Grant announced the devastating loss of their daughter, Jaimi Lee, who had suffered a long illness. An unbearably difficult time, Lisa leaned on her husband Mark, with a source telling New Idea, “Mark is warm, emotional and incredibly supportive… I’m not sure she could have survived this without him.”

And Mark has slotted into Lisa’s family seamlessly. Along with Jaimi, Lisa has two other children Jett and Morgan, who has two children herself.

At the end of it all, despite the highs and lows, these two will always have each other.
July 2023 marked seven years since Mark kneeled down onto one knee and proposed to Lisa. In memory of the beautiful occasion, Lisa shared a tribute to Instagram.
“Right here behind us in Paradise Bay 7 years and 1 day ago, he put a ring on it,” Lisa wrote.
“Mark hired a beautiful yacht and at sunset, got down on one knee and proposed. It was very romantic 🥰
“Nice to be there again last night for a sold out show “Malta to Memphis” . Such a great night !! And so lovely to meet all the locals and Australians here on holidays”.
