If there’s one woman who knows the pressures of performing in front of a crowd, it’s Olympic medallist and golden girl of Australian swimming, Leisel Jones.

Performing stark naked, however, may take a different level of courage all together.

The former Olympic swimmer is baring all on Channel Seven’s All New Monty – in the name of charity, of course.

Regardless of whether Leisel is on an Olympic podium or the All New Monty stage, there’s one man cheering her on from the crowd – her husband Damon Martin.

Leisel has joined this year’s All New Monty.

The couple met back in 2016, with Leisel singing Damon’s praises, clearly smitten by her new man.

“It’s hard to meet people in Sydney and it’s hard to find friends and be casual and relaxed,” she confessed to the Daily Mail.

“We’re pretty lucky!”

The sporting great shared that it was Damon’s smarts and fun attitude that caught her eye.

“He’s super fun, very smart,” she praised, before adding, “He’s super duper smart which is really important to me. He’s got a great brain.”

Leisel and Damon began dating in 2016.

A year later, in September 2017 Leisel and Damon announced their engagement, with her fiancé popping the question while overseas.

Taking to Instagram to share a photo with Damon in a New York alley by the Brooklyn Ice Cream Factory, the swimmer revealed the happy news.

“WE’RE ENGAGED,” she penned.

“Damo popped the question while we were in The States. I can’t wait to annoy the hell out of you for the rest of our eternal lives. Love you @sunchayser.”

The blissfully loved-up couple waited less than a year to tie the knot after getting engaged.

Just days before the ceremony Leisel told the Herald Sun they had planned a “low-key” wedding.

“I’m not a bridey bride, it will be pretty simple,” she said.

“As long as the food’s good and we’re all happy. It’s been long enough to know it’s right.”

While it may have been “simple” it was still an absolutely stunning affair.

The secluded wedding took place at an idyllic country estate on the outskirts of Bowral, New South Wales, with perfectly manicured gardens and a simple floral-clad archway.

On the morning of her wedding Leisel hilariously shared an insight into her pre-wedding routine.

Forget champagne, this bride’s choice of poison is much more potent.

“Some brides post their nail colour with a glass of champagne or tea. Not this bride. She only drinks tequila,” she captioned her photo.

She also ensured she’d be comfortable while getting ready.

“So it’s all about that comfort when you get married, so I brought my own robe…because it’s white, but also I’ve got my UGG boots, because a bride has to stay warm on her wedding day,” Leisel said.
