As the waters sparkled on Sydney’s glittering harbour, Michael Clarke and his bikini-clad blonde companion relaxed on the deck of a luxury yacht.
Looking like he didn’t have a care in the world, the former Australian cricket captain and his friend – who was later identified as his former PA Sasha Armstrong – chatted, swam and sunbaked onboard his friend Anthony Bell’s $16 million superyacht Ghost II.
But after photos emerged of the November 2 catch-up, Michael Clarke’s wife Kyly Clarke – who was notably absent from the yacht jaunt – apparently hit the roof!
“Of course she’s annoyed by the images. What woman wouldn’t be?” one cricket insider tells Woman’s Day.
Michael and Sasha have worked together for almost five years, with Sasha starting out as Michael’s assistant in 2014. She’s now the executive director of his cricket academy.

“They have a very unorthodox relationship for a business situation,” claims the insider.
“When it comes to business, Michael often turns to Sasha before Kyly. He made a decision back in 2013 to self-manage himself, and we all had a chuckle when he hired this gorgeous leggy blonde as a PA – it would never happen in my house!”
Lifestyle blogger Kyly – who shares daughter Kelsey Lee, who turns three on November 17, with Michael – seemed to hint that all is not completely rosy in the marriage when she shared a telling comment on Instagram just days before Michael and Sasha’s outing.
“It’s always the simplest things that mean the most and how you treat someone is what they remember,” she wrote. “Show your love by uploading a post to the ones you love,” Kyly added, tagging her sister Kelly, but making no mention of her husband.

No doubt adding to Kyly’s stress was the fact that Kelsey Lee was rushed to hospital the day after Michael and Sasha’s harbour hang. Michael, 37, shared the worrying news on Instagram: “My little girl is still not doing too well.”
Thankfully Kelsey Lee – who also spent time in hospital with a mystery ailment earlier this year – was soon sent home.
Kyly, 37, and Michael married in secret at the six-star Wolgan Valley Resort in May 2012. Kelsey Lee was born five weeks prematurely in November 2015.
Kyly has often spoken of the special bond she shares with Michael.
“I love how caring he is,” she’s gushed. “I know he’d give me whatever he possibly could in the world to make me happy. He’s one of a kind.”

However, sources claim that she was very insecure during the early days of the relationship.
In fact, according to our source, when Kyly and Michael first started dating, he refused to cut contact with former fiancee Lara Worthington, and would text and call her.
“It was awful to see Kyly so insecure, despite being so gorgeous,” says the insider.

While sources dismiss talk of a separation, they do believe the yacht outing is a sign there might be trouble in paradise.
“What man goes out for a business meeting on the deck of a luxury boat getting cosy with his assistant? It’s so inappropriate,” says the source.
“Why didn’t he take the whole family out on such a beautiful day?”
