There was a rare sighting of one of Australia’s very own music royalty with the new love of her life on her arm last night.
That’s right, pop princess Kylie Minogue stepped out at Harper’s Bazaar Women of the Year Awards in London with handsome beau, Paul Solomons as her date.
And picking up an award for Music Icon wasn’t the only thing making Kylie beam all night. For the unlucky in love songstress is six months into a relationship with GQ magazine’s Creative Director Solomons and judging by the sweet snap she posted on Instagram of the night, she wants to shout about her love from the rooftops.
It’s a rare move for Kylie, 50, who has been keeping Welshman Solomons under wraps since they first met through mutual friends in February of this year. But the intimate moment of the pair holding hands at top London hotel Claridge’s where the awards took place revealed that the singer is now happy to go public with her man.

The beauty shared her joy at winning the prestigious award, presented to her by another Aussie rock icon, Nick Cave, by posting on social media, “What a wonderful, warm and inspiring evening. I’m so honoured to have this ‘Music Icon’ award, presented by none other than @nickcaveofficial.”

“Thanks to the many who make the moments in my career add up to something. Your love and support is truly amazing,” the singer went on.

News first broke of the singer’s romance in April when Kylie posted a candid snap of the pair at her 50th birthday party celebration at London hotspot The Chiltern Firehouse with the caption “Birthday girl”.
Kylie later admitted to The Sun that her new romance “didn’t compare” with her earlier relationships.
“It’s lovely,” she confessed. “He’s not on the road with me because he’s got a job and commitments, as much as I’d love him to be. I am so appreciative he is in my life right now.”

Until 43-year-old Solomons came into her life, Kylie was as well known for her rocky path to true love as she was for her musical success. From exes including Jason Donovan to Michael Hutchence to a particular bitter break-up with her former fiancé, Joshua Sasse with whom she ended their engagement in 2017 after two years together, Kylie’s had it hard when it comes to finding The One.

But Solomons has put a smile back on Kylie’s face and is supporting her through her latest Golden Tour which comes off the back of her new album ‘Golden’ which she threw herself into making after the heartache of her relationship with Sasse.

The tour is the singer’s fifteenth tour promoting her fourteenth studio album but a nasty case of vocal strain meant Kylie was forced to cancel performance dates recently in Dublin and Belfast. She apologised to fans, tweeting, “Lovers, I’m so sorry to let you know that I can’t do tonight’s Dublin or tomorrow’s Belfast shows. I’ve been trying everything possible to be well enough to perform for you but a throat infection has led to vocal strain.
“I promise I’ll be back as soon as possible and at 100%. (The Guinness will be on me!) We’re working on rescheduling and more details will follow. I’m so, so sorry to let you down and thank you for your understanding.”
