Just two weeks after confirming that she and her British love, Joshua Sasse, had ended their engagement, Kylie Minogue has shown us that she is still a hopeful romantic.
The 48-year-old has revealed that she is looking forward to the future and remains positive that there is more love for her around the corner.
“It wasn’t meant to be and so I look forward to moving on, richer for the experience,” she told the Herald Sun.

“I haven’t had the white-picket fence and happy ever after in my life so far, but perhaps that’s just not my destiny.”
The singer confirmed her shock split from her 29-year-old actor beau on Instagram in early February, exactly one year after they announced their engagement.
“Thank you now for your love and understanding with the news that Josh and I have decided to go our separate ways,” she wrote in the post. “We wish only the best for each other as we venture towards new horizons.”
The pair split amid allegations that Joshua had grown close with his co-star Marta Milans, 34, on the set of their TV show No Tomorrow.
But despite reports that the actor is attempting to get Kylie back, the Aussie star isn’t prepared to give him a second chance.
“Kylie is pretty cut up after what happened,” an insider told Heat magazine. “She’s a wreck and it’s so much harder to move on when he’s still trying to contact her.”
“Josh says he was selfish and wrong and wants to make it up to her,” the insider added. “Kylie’s been gracious towards him in public, which he thinks means he still has a chance of getting her back.”
However, it’s clear that Kylie is ready to move on with her life and has no doubt that she will find love again.
“I know love, and I love to be in love,” she said.
