Kylie and Dannii Minogue are set to perform together for the first time in 29 years!
The singing sisters will join forces to make the X Factor Australia grand finale the most memorable one yet as the perform their duet 100 Degrees, from Kylie’s Christmas album.
Kylie touched down in Sydney earlier today, ahead of the sisters’ on-screen reunion, and is also set to appear at Thursday’s ARIA awards.
Prior to this, the Minogue gals last performed together on Young Talent Time back in 1986, when they sang Sisters Are Doin’ It For Themselves.
“We’re not going to be able to give nearly as good hair this time around!” Kylie laughed as she discussed the upcoming performance with The Daily Telegraph.
Back together again! The sisters will be performing the latest duet 100 Degrees on the X Factor finale and the ARIA awards.
“Or outfits, or anything like that. We literally can’t beat that. So we can only aim to honour it.”
Meanwhile, Dannii has been busy prepping for the big on-screen reunion by making sure the show’s director knows exactly who’s singing what, as even the ladies’ parents can’t tell them apart over the phone!
“I’ve written out who sings what line,” the 44-year-old said, explaining that she knows “it can be difficult to pick [them] apart.”
