A furious Kim Kardashian has sued a website for sensational claims her traumatic robbery was fake.
The reality star filed a lawsuit against MediaTakeOut.com this week for exposing the public to three posts that cast doubt on her ordeal.
The site had alleged there was evidence Kim had staged the robbery with the help of her mother Kris Jenner.
The publication then drew comparisons between Kim’s robbery and the infamous Ryan Lochte incident where he was found to have fabricated a robbery story in Rio.
MediaTakeOut also alleged “French authorities” suspected the heist was fake and suggested the 35-year-old’s subsequent insurance claim for her stolen jewellery was a federal crime.
Kim’s lawsuit claims the website cited “unidentified and clearly uninformed” sources they found on social media.
It appears as though the site has removed the stories for now.

The papers claim the Keeping up with the Kardashians star had previously demanded a retraction and an apology, but that the request had been ignored.
“After having been the victim of a horrific and traumatic armed robbery in France, Kim Kardashian returned to the United States only to again be victimised, but this time by an online gossip tabloid that published a series of articles in early October 2016 referring to her a liar and thief,” the lawsuit states.
“Defendants’ reckless and malicious publication of the Articles was calculated to cause maximum harm to Kardashian.”
Meanwhile Khloe Kardashian has told the world Kim is “not doing that well” following her harrowing ordeal.
