Australian stars Nicole Kidman and Keith Urban first met in 2005 and over the course of their almost-20-year relationship, they have celebrated many milestones together.
Arguably their biggest milestones have been the births of their daughters Sunday Rose and Faith Margaret.
After tying the knot in 2006, Nicole and Keith went on to welcome their first child Sunday Rose on 7 July 2008, followed by their second child Faith Margaret two years later on 28 December 2010.
While they keep their daughters out of the spotlight majority of the time, Nicole and Keith have shared some rare glimpses into their family life with photos of Sunday and Faith, as well as quotes where they gushed over their children.
Most recently, Nicole Kidman was honoured with an AFI Life Achievement Award, and her entire family came to support her, including her daughters.
Nicole spoke to PEOPLE on the red carpet at the gala where she was asked what it was like to have Sunday Rose, 15, and Faith Margaret, 13, witness such a special moment in her career. The Aussie actress jokingly said, “You’ll have to ask them.”
“I think they’re just like … they want to get started on their own careers,” the 56-year-old continued of her daughters, whose attendance at the event marked their red-carpet debut.
“They are here to support me, and they’re very, very supportive and incredibly loving,” she added.
“It’s beautiful to have a family to be able to go and want to share this with you, because you don’t get to do that. A lot of the times, if you get invited to the Academy Awards, you get one ticket extra. So the idea of being able to have your family come to something like this is really exciting,” Nicole continued.
As previously mentioned, pictures of Sunday Rose and Faith Margaret are rare, so fans are always eager to see who the girls resemble most.
At the gala, people were quick to draw similarities between Sunday and Faith and their mother in particular.
Nicole has spoken about how the girls have unique accents due to their Australian heritage and American residence: ‘My daughters are Nashvillians! They have a southern drawl,” she told PEOPLE in 2016. “They have some Aussie. They have an unusual mix. They’re hybrids.”
Nicole has also addressed how her and Keith juggle their busy careers with their family life, expressing that their family always comes first.
“At this stage in our lives, it’s what works for the family and what works for our own joy,” she said of avoiding roles that would take too much time away from their daughters.
Sunday Rose and Faith Margaret are Nicole Kidman and Keth Urban’s biggest pride and joy in life, and the Aussie superstars always prioritise their daughters.
