The mother-of-one, who shares 11-year-old daughter Suri Cruise with ex-husband Tom Cruise, rocked the red carpet in a seriously chic strapless silver number by her favourite designer Zac Posen.
Later in the night, Katie took to the stage to present an award and the crowd couldn’t contain their excitement, cheering her on as flashed her trademark grin.
Meanwhile, her boyfriend Jamie Foxx could be seen beaming in the audience.
Katie’s appearance at the Grammys is sending a very clear message – her high-profile divorce from Tom Cruise will no longer define her and she is her own woman.

It’s been widely reported there is a stipulation in Katie’s divorce from Tom, 55, that prevents her from publicly dating another man for five years after their split.
“Katie signed a clause in her quickie divorce settlement that prevents her from embarrassing Tom in various ways, like talking about him or Scientology, or publicly dating another man for five years after the divorce,” a source told Life & Style.
“She’s allowed to date, but she cannot do so in a public fashion, and she’s not supposed to let any boyfriend near their daughter Suri.”
Now that those long and seemingly never-ending five years have finally passed, Katie Holmes is back and better than ever.
