They’ve been married for seven years and reportedly even tried living apart for some time, but form Home and Away star Kate Ritchie says her marriage to Stuart Webb is doing just fine.
In a new interview with Stellar magazine, the 39-year-old opens up about the persistent rumours they’ve split.
“It doesn’t hurt my feelings, not anymore. I think in the old days it did,” the star said.
Adding: “There’s no point in getting bogged down about what other people think is happening in my life.”
The actress and her NRL beau tied the knot in 2010, after dating for two years.
They welcomed their daughter, Mae, in August, 2014.
Last year, several outlets including The Daily Telegraph claimed the couple were living apart with Kate in Sydney with their daughter and Stuart based in their Southern Highlands property.
“Yes, they’re living apart for now, but they still see each other regularly for the sake of Mae,” an insider told Woman’s Day at the time.
However, it seems as though they’ve managed to work through their issues and are looking towards the future.
Kate also revealed she’d love to have more kids with Stuart and to give three-year-old Mae more “little people” to hang out with.
“Having children is a wonderful distraction from yourself, and also opens up a brand-new world that is far greater than anything,” she explained to the publication.
“There’s no point in getting bogged down about what other people think is happening in my life,” Kate says of the constant divorce rumours.
