The marriage of Kate Beckinsale and Len Wiseman is over. Almost.
Len has officially started divorce proceedings from his estranged wife, citing irreconcilable differences.
The pair had been married for 12 years and separated in November last year.
Neither of the parties is apparently seeking spousal support which, according to TMZ, is a pretty good indicator they may have had a prenuptial agreement in place.
Kate and Len have been separated since November 2015.
Although they called it quits on their 13-year relationship almost a year ago, sources have claimed the pair had parted secretly months before.
Before their split, Len was seen out with the much younger actress 25-year-old CJ Franco.
The pair look to have continued their romance after the separation, being seen together as late as June 2016.
Kate has been spotted out with David Walliams.
Since the split, Kate has been linked to various men, indicating she’s more than ready to move on and put this chapter of her life behind her.
Rumours swirled of a possible romance between her and Little Britain actor David Walliams after the twosome were seen gazing at each other and linked arm in arm on several different occasions.
The 43-year-old actress has since denied these rumours.

There’s also talk she may be quite close with a man who is said to be her bodyguard, with the pair frequently spotted joined at the hip, smiling and laughing with their arms intertwined.
Kate and Les met on the set of Underworld, a movie in which she starred and he directed, in 2003.
When they first met, Les was married to a kindergarten teacher named Dana and Kate was in a relationship with actor Michael Sheen, with whom she shares 17-year-old daughter Lily.
