Congratulations are in order for Today host Karl Stefanovic and his new bride, Jasmine Yarbrough who have just tied the knot in Mexico!
The couple, who met in Sydney on board a boat at the end of 2016, got married in an intimate ceremony at the One&Only Palmilla resort in San Jose del Cabo on Saturday October 8th, surrounded by their close family and friends including his brother, Peter Stefanovic and wife Sylvia Jeffreys.
Woman’s Day has been told Karl’s three kids Jackson, 19, daughter Ava, 13, and River, 12, who he shares with ex-wife Cassandra Thorburn, did not attend the ceremony but Jackson and Ava did go to the reception.
Jackson attended the reception with his girlfriend Anna, however they only stayed for ten minutes.
The Ceremony
In the stunning first photos, which were released via Jasmine’s Mara and Mine publicist, the bride, 34, wore a couture gown by Sydney designer Jessica Andretta.
The gown featured soft blush tulle undertones with aztec motifs beaded over lace, exclusively picked and perfect for the Mexican setting.
New hubby Karl, 44, wore a white Tom Ford suit with personalised RM Williams boots, when his mother, Jenny accompanied him down the aisle.
Jasmine’s seven bridesmaids, including her younger sister Jade, wore Rachel Gilbert while Karl’s groomsmen including Peter and their other brother Tom, wore black suits.

The Guests
Guests in attendance have been blowing up their Instagrams with pictures from day.
These include Christian Wilkins (Richard Wilkins’ son) and Karl’s brother and sister-in-law, Pete Stefanovic and Sylvia Jeffreys.
The Reception
Guests enjoyed beverages and a beautiful meal at the stunning beach front reception.
Under a sky of fairy lights, with sand at their feet, the delicious menu consisted of Chicken tortilla soup, with heirloom tomato, “Queso fresco” and a micro green salad, goat cheese, artesenal aged balsamic vinegar for entrees and Grilled beef tenderloin a la “tampiquena, mushroom enchilada, roasted poblana pepper and avocado salsa for mains.
The menu itself, a black circle card, personalised with “J K”, “Let’s Eat” and “Sip the night away!”.
Speeches during the reception were made by Jasmine’s dad, Bobby, Karl’s mum, Jenny, and both Stefanovic brothers.
Jade Yarbrough, Jasmine’s best friend Georgia and Karl’s best man, Ben Tilley also spoke.
During Karl’s speech, he spoke about how “he was broken” and Jamine “put him back together”, and was quite teary throughout.
“Jasmine you have taken on enormous stress with me, you have taken on another family, media and social criticism that would break most – you’ve weathered it. You stand tall, you stand strong, you stand up and keep walking,” Karl told his blushing bride.
Adding: “Everyone needs a Jasmine in their life. If they have it they’re the luckiest people in the world. You are my rock, you are my saviour, you put me back together.”
“I’m a better person because of you, a better friend, a better dad – tonight I celebrate and toast you Jasmine my wife,” the TV star concluded.
The couple’s first dance was to “Tupelo Honey” by Van Morrison (a running theme throughout the night) and were finished off by some incredible fireworks!
The festivities also included a Studio 54 themed after party at the resort.
Following the nuptials, Jasmine and Karl are said to be flying to LA and will spend a night at the ritzy Beverly Hills Hotel. They’ll then head to ski resort Aspen, Colorado.
After a few days relaxing and hitting the slopes, they’ll return to Australia and continue their honeymoon in Port Douglas in Far North Queensland.
“We’re just going to be hanging around,” Karl revealed of the couple’s plans late last month, “which is going to be so nice!”
