It’s set to be the Aussie showbiz wedding of the year, but before the actual nuptials, Karl Stefanovic and Jasmine Yarbrough have welcomed their close family and friends in an exclusive wedding dinner in Cabo, Mexico.
The welcome drinks, were a fun, vibrant, informal celebration for the couple and their guests, giving them a chance to let their hair down upon arrival.

This marks the first official event of their wedding celebrations, before the official nuptials on Saturday night (local Mexico time).
Held during sunset, on Thursday, the guests enjoyed cocktails and dinner at the One and Only Palmilla resort in Cabo at the resort’s Agua by Larbi Mexican restaurant.
Guests included the Jasmine’s bridesmaids, her high school friends Sarah Johnson, Sophie Pentland, Jimilla Houghton, Stoj Bulic and Georgie Fleming, plus sister Jade Yarbrough and her business partner, Tamie Ingham.
Karl’s groomsmen, including his brothers Tom and Pete (and wife Sylvia Jeffries) Stefanovic, Josh Yarbrough and his close friends, Ben Tilley, Mick Doohan, Steve Marshall and schoolfriend Alan Rogina.

Accourding to a Woman’s Day insider, during the dinner, “Karl made a brief welcome speech, and started by saying: “Can everyone just have a look at how beautiful Jasmine looks tonight.”
“He then made everyone do three ‘hip hip hoorays’ for Jasmine, but he wasn’t satisfied with how enthusiastic it was so he made everyone do it again three times,” the source revealed.
“Karl then read out a poem from his publicist that highlighted the rules of the event in a funny poem.”
The hashtag of the wedding was also revealed, #letsgetfizzykarl (which “Karl sung in the tune of Let’s Get Physical), because he refers to Jasmine as J-Fizzle.
On Saturday, when the couple finally tie the knot, Karl’s sister Elisa will officiate the ceremony, while his beautiful mum, Jenny walks him down the aisle.
Other guests included Richard Wilkins and his son, Christian, Sylvia and the “rest of the TV crew”, Grant Kenny and as reported in recent days, Karl’s close friend, James Packer, was not in attendance.
Following the nuptials, Jasmine and Karl will are said to be flying to LA and spend a night at the ritzy Beverly Hills Hotel. They’ll then head to ski resort Aspen, Colorado.
After a few days relaxing and hitting the slopes, they’ll return to Australia and continue their honeymoon in Port Douglas in Far North Queensland.
“We’re just going to be hanging around,” Karl revealed of the couple’s plans late last month, “which is going to be so nice!”
