Karl Stefanovic says he and wife Jasmine Stefanovic are trying to start a family together.
The former Today Show host, who wed his gorgeous shoe designer wife in a fabulous celeb-studded wedding in Mexico last December, revealed his new family plans to TV WEEK on the red carpet at the 2019 Logie Awards.
While Karl, 44, already has three children with former wife Cassandra Thorburn, his new bride Jasmine, 34, is keen to have a family of her own.
When asked about the rumours Jasmine is currently pregnant, Karl told TV WEEK: “Well, if the gods of fertility shall shine their light on us at some point it would be fine.”
The couple recently jetted off to Paris, where Jasmine was there to work on her brand Mara and Mine, and Karl says he was happy to play the role of supportive husband.
“Jas was working hard. I’m just happy to be along here having a look, supporting her, making dinners and breakfasts and shuffling her off to work,” he said.
Karl isn’t nominated tonight, but the celebrated journalist says he’s well and truly had his moment in the sun, having already won the TV WEEK Gold Logie Award for Most Popular Personality in 2011 and the Silver Logie for Most Popular Presenter.
“I’m glad I won it when I did,” Karl said.

There are currently rumours swirling that Karl could be joining his former former Today Show co-host Lisa Wilkinson on The Project, but the 59-year-old, who famously quit the popular breakfast TV show in 2017 over a pay dispute, shut down those rumours on the red carpet this evening.
“I think we’re all full at the inn at the moment, he’d have to take a number,” Lisa joked to TV WEEK on the red carpet.
