Karl Stefanovic and his new wife Jasmine Yarbrough are not letting the past few weeks get them down.
In fact, the pair have shared a very happy snap from their holiday in Yamba, NSW posing with friend Lauryn Rakic and her husband.
“Yamba Locals 🦐…. and what a place!” Jasmine captioned the post on her Instagram.
The new Mr-and-Mrs looked happy and relaxed (and a little sun kissed), enjoying their summer holidays with their friends, who also attended their nuptials back in early December.
Just a few days ago, Karl also took to his Instagram, sharing another holiday snap from the beginning of their travels – on what clearly appears to be a fun road trip!
“Road trip with the whanau. Bags being In the back,” he wrote – with “whanau” referring to his “extended family” of friends.
While it was announced by Channel Nine that the 44 year-old would be leaving The Today Show after 14 years behind the desk, the couple have not shied away from sharing positive posts.
In fact, it looks like they had a pretty great Christmas, thank you very much!
On Boxing Day, the former Today host shared a pic of himself and Jasmine along with their adorable pooch, Chance the Yapper.
Dressed in their festive best, Karl captioned the pic, “Some one found the scoobie snacks. Happy days. Merry Christmas and happy new year everyone. Xx”

While there is a certain hullabaloo surrounding Karl at present, he certainly has an army of loyal supporters who will miss seeing his face on TV every morning – and they continue to bombard his comment section with well wishes.
“What a beautiful couple. So sad not to see u on today show anymore… almost half my life i’ve woken up to today with u on it! Will never be the same! [sic]” one follower commented.
“All the best to you Karl & thank you fo the fun 14 years on Today. My kids grew up watching you in the mornings and you’ll be missed. Totally disgusted by the way you have been treated,” another penned.

After what has been an incredibly difficult year for Karl, including a little run-in with a pap on Christmas Day, his gorgeous wifehas stood by him every step of the way and Karl thanked her in his wedding speech.
“Everyone needs a Jasmine in their life. If they have it they’re the luckiest people in the world. You are my rock, you are my saviour, you put me back together,” he said at their wedding reception.
“I’m a better person because of you, a better friend, a better dad – tonight I celebrate and toast you Jasmine my wife.”
