It’s been a rough few days for Karl Stefanovic.
Shortly after he and his new wife Jasmine Yarbrough tied the knot in Mexico, it was announced by Channel Nine that the 44 year-old would be leaving The Today Show after 14 years behind the desk. Then on Christmas Day, he was caught in an angry exchange with a photographer at Gold Coast airport.
But Karl isn’t hiding away in silence. In fact, he looks like he had a pretty great Christmas.

On Boxing Day, the former Today host has shared an Instagram post of himself and his wife Jasmine along with their adorable pooch, Chance the Yapper. Dressed in their festive best, Karl captioned the pic, “Some one found the scoobie snacks. Happy days. Merry Christmas and happy new year everyone. Xx”
The post is Karl’s latest social media post since November 2018 and it’s safe to say that he has an army of loyal supporters who will definitely miss seeing his face on TV every morning.
“What a beautiful couple. So sad not to see u on today show anymore… almost half my life ive woken up to today with u on it! Will never be the same!” one follower commented.
“All the best to you Karl & thank you fo the fun 14 years on Today. My kids grew up watching you in the mornings and you’ll be missed. Totally disgusted by the way you have been treated,” another penned.
Jasmine also shared a sweet picture from Christmas Day of the whole family sitting around the dinner table captioning it, “Merry Christmas from the Stefanovic/Yarbrough’s and our Queen, Nana Isabelle.”

December has no doubt been a whirlwind month for Karl and Jasmine, and it’s not only Karl’s fans who will miss him.
The day after his departure was announced, Today‘s entertainment reporter Richard Wilkins gave a heartfelt speech praising his former co-host and friend.
“There is no secret that the past year or so has been difficult times for Karl but I can say he has walked into the studio every morning with energy and passion bringing ideas to make the show bigger and better.”
“Karl, thank you for all the great work. You have notched up a massive number of flying hours. You didn’t just wake up with Today. Today woke up with you. Good luck, mate.”

Despite the hard times, Jasmine has stood by him and Karl thanked his wife in his wedding speech.
“Everyone needs a Jasmine in their life. If they have it they’re the luckiest people in the world. You are my rock, you are my saviour, you put me back together,” he said at their wedding reception.
“I’m a better person because of you, a better friend, a better dad – tonight I celebrate and toast you Jasmine my wife.”
