Fresh from his surprise exit on The Today Show last Thursday, Karl Stefanovic is making the most of his short break.
Last week, the 42-year-old ducked away from his hosting duties to make a sneaky escape to Tahiti for a whirlwind holiday with his girlfriend, shoe designer Jasmine Yarbrough.
Karl and 33-year-old Jasmine are now living it up on James Packer’s luxurious superyacht, the Arctic P, as the VIP vessel cruises around the pristine waters of Bora Bora in French Polynesia.
Over the weekend, the duo were spotted racing each other on jet-skis.
The loved-up couple are in good company with the likes of James Packer and former Nine CEO David Gyngell also joining them for the mini-break.
Packer and Gyngell were famously involved in a brawl outside Packer’s home in Bondi in 2014 but the close friends, who have been mates since childhood, have managed to move on from their rift.
“He didn’t come to my place to punch me, I went to his place to punch him. I put him in more of a precarious position, which I shouldn’t have done, being the person he is and the responsibilities and governance issues he has; I was peeved at myself for doing that,” David told 2GB‘s Ray Hadley of their biff.
The couple are currently enjoying the pristine waters of Bora Bora.
Their fight was reportedly over James’ divorce from Aussie model Erica Packer and his rumoured relationship with Miranda Kerr.
Throughout his divorce from Cassandra Thorburn, James Packer has been a pillar of strength for Karl.
In April, Karl joined Jasmine’s family in Mexico for a geataway on a five-star trip to Cabo San Lucas in Mexico to celebrate her brother Josh’s 30th birthday.
The TV star will reportedly return to his hosting duties later this week and Ben Fordham has been filling in for him in the interim.
James has helped Karl throughout his divorce.
The Arctic P would make for an ideal romantic holiday.
