The tiny newborn appeared to be mid-yawn as the photo was taken, and basketball fans Justin, 34, and Jessica, 32, had their little man dressed in an mini-Memphis Grizzlies jersey to cheer on their team.
“The Timberlakes are ready!!! GO GRIZZ! #GritNGrind #Playoffs #BabyGrizzROAR,” the singer captioned the shot, seemingly poking fun at Silas’s open mouth.
Meanwhile Jessica looked absolutely stunning in the make-up free snap, wearing a baseball cap and tight black top as she debuted her beautiful bub to the world.
Silas is the first child for the happy couple who tied the knot in 2012 in a romantic Italian ceremony.
Justin and Jessica are notoriously private and it wasn’t until Justin’s 34th birthday earlier this year that they finally confirmed they were expecting via a cute Instagram photo of Justin kissing Jessica’s belly.
“Thank You EVERYONE for the bday wishes! This year, I’m getting the GREATEST GIFT EVER. CAN’T WAIT. #boyorgirl #Youneverknow #wedont even know #wearetakingbets,” the Rock Your Body hitmaker penned at the time.
Prior to that, the couple had been surrounded by pregnancy rumours since celebrating their two-year-wedding anniversary in October.
Justin and Jessica first began dating in 2007 and have had somewhat of a tumultuous relationship as they went their separate ways 2011 before working everything out and getting back together later that year.
Despite being spotted looking heavily pregnant, that didn’t stop the actress from working hard on her upcoming movie The Devil and the Deep Blue Sea, right up until the birth. The brunette beauty is both producing and starring in the flick and was still active on set until she gave birth.
Justin meanwhile has reportedly reformed his former party-boy lifestyle in preparation for becoming a father. An insider source told OK Magazine that: “The transformation has been quite incredible. Not only does he pamper Jessica 24/7, he also has been reading up on fatherhood the whole time and has totally transformed his lifestyle.”
Congratulations to the happy couple on their cherubic arrival!
