“When life gets wonderful”: Jodi Gordon debuts her new romance in a heart-felt post

As though 2020 wasn’t chaotic enough, Neighbours star Jodi Gordon has seen a lot of big life changes this year.

The actress and mother-of-one to Aleeia quit her role as Elly on Ramsay Street, moved back to Sydney to be closer to her daughter, whom she shared with ex Braith Anasta, and she faced heartbreak when she split from lawyer boyfriend, Cedric.

The star recently opened up about her struggled to date while split between Sydney and Melbourne.

“I do date occasionally, but I find it really difficult between two cities, and when I’m in Sydney, I’m ‘mum’,” she told The Daily Telegraph.

“It’s really hard to date, but I do find time occasionally,” Jodi added.

Aleeia has been Jodi’s main focus.

Now based in Sydney full time, it seems it was all a matter of place, timing and an extra special someone, to change that.

Taking to Instagram the 35-year-old shared two very loved up looking snaps with a new mystery man.

The actress was absolutely glowing, not just because of the golden sunset, captioning the post: “When life gets wonderful… 🤍”

The photo was flooded with comments from fellow stars and friends including Neighbours’ Sharon Johal and April Rose Pengilly, Megan Gale, Anna Heinrich and Kyly Clarke.

In a recent interview with Now To Love Jodi opened up about her decision to leave Neighbours and move to Sydney.

“It was a really good time for me to rest for a minute, re-group, settle back into the Sydney lifestyle and have that time to reconnect with everyone,” she explains.

Now she’s based in the same city as her ex-husband, Jodi says co-parenting their daughter together is all about routine and working as a team.

“Like most co-parenting situations we make it work. We work together to make it work,” she says.

Aleeia is certainly one loved little girl with Jodi revealing of her support network: “She’s constantly around [people], whether it’s my family or my ex-partner’s family, all of our parents as well… She’s got so many grandparents, so many friends.”
