Jennifer Lopez and Ben Affleck have tied the knot in Las Vegas!
The couple, who rekindled their romance last year after breaking up in 2004, married in an intimate Las Vegas ceremony on Saturday.
“It was super, super small,” an insider told Page Six. “[Jennifer’s] mum and kids were there. They just wanted to be married so they got married.”
The publication also obtained a marriage license from Clark County, Nevada filed Saturday, indicating that the couple got their marriage license under their full legal names, Benjamin Geza Affleck and Jennifer Lynn Lopez.
What’s more, fans were even given a glimpse at one of her two wedding dresses thanks to a TikTok video uploaded by hair stylist, Chris Appleton.
The first was a simple white frock with matching bag that had been in JLo’s wardrobe for years.
“I’ve had this dress for so many years, and I’ve just been saving it, saving it, saving it, and now I’m wearing it on my wedding day,” she said in an emotional clip shared in her On the JLo newsletter.
Meanwhile her second dress that she wore to Vegas’ iconic Little White Wedding Chapel was a more glamorous, off-the-shoulder and lacy Zuhair Murad bridal gown with a matching veil.
In February, Jennifer told People that her relationship with the Gone Girl actor is very different this time around.
“We’re older now, we’re smarter, we have more experience, we’re at different places in our lives, we have kids now, and we have to be very conscious of those things,” she said.
“It’s a beautiful outcome that this has happened in this way at this time in our lives where we can really appreciate and celebrate each other and respect each other.”
Jennifer announced her engagement in April via her OnTheJLo newsletter, posting a video featuring her glittering 8.5-carat green diamond engagement ring, a colour that holds special significance for her.
“You’re perfect,” Jennifer said in the clip as she stared at her ring.
In a previous newsletter, Jennifer admitted: “I’ve realised there are many moments in my life where amazing things happened when I was wearing green.”
“I always say the colour green is my lucky colour. Maybe you can remember a certain green dress,” she added, referring to her iconic Versace silk frock she wore to the 2000 Grammys.
Jennifer and Ben, or “Bennifer” as they’ve become affectionately dubbed, met in 2001 on the set of their movie Gigli while JLo was still married to her second husband Cris Judd.
In late 2002, Ben proposed to Jennifer with a 6.1-carat pink diamond ring by Harry Winston, however they later called off their engagement and announced their split in 2004.
The Maid in Manhattan star went on to marry Marc Anthony, with whom she shares twins Emme and Max, who were born in 2008.
Ben also moved on and got married to actress Jennifer Garner in June 2005. The couple, who eventually broke up in 2015, share three kids; Violet, Seraphina, and Sam.
After divorcing Marc, JLo embarked on a whirlwind romance with baseball icon Alex Rodriguez. However, the singer and Ben reunited in early 2021 and have been inseparable ever since.
