Which is exactly the case for Alex Rodriguez, who was introduced to his new lady love Jennifer Lopez’s mum Guadalupe Rodriguez (what are the chances they have the same surname?!).

Yep, the loved up couple were spotted strolling the streets of NYC with J.Lo’s mum over the weekend, and they all looked to be getting on like a house on fire.
Yay!
And it’s not just ARod who’s gotten the in-law’s stamp of approval, with Jen also meeting his sister Susy Dunand last month – who even shared a few snaps of them on Instagram, referring to J.Lo as her sister-on-law or as she wrote, “cuñi.”
Sounds like the couple have their stamps of approval then.
Meanwhile, the former pro-baseball player seems pretty keen to put a ring on J.Lo’s finger after gushing about her during an interview with The View last week.
“She’s an amazing, amazing girl,” he said. “One of the smartest human beings I’ve ever met and also an incredible mother.”
In fact, sources close to the couple – who’ve only been dating since last month – say that ARod “would wife [Jen] up in a heartbeat.”.
