Star of The Wrong Girl, Jessica Marais, has spilled on why the little three-year-old was no longer allowed on set!
“Zoe brought Sonny into the set once, and they happened to be there for this one scene where Lily says a particularly inappropriate sentence,” the 31-year-old actress told News Corp.
As a result, Jess added that Zoe, author of the book-turn-TV-series, “quickly whisked him out of there.”
Ah, well that makes sense!
We’re guessing those “scenes” could be one of the steamy moments between Jess and her co-star Ian Meadows, which the Aussie stunner recently revealing they were particularly awkward!
“There’s literally someone like 10 centimetres away from your face with a camera pointed at you,” the Logie award winner laughed.
“They all try not to look as they are trying to be polite and be respectful of the fact it is a difficult scene. Everyone is trying to do their job but not look at you or the camera and film you and have you in focus.
“You just have to have fun with it and laugh, it is part of the job,” she quipped.
Last night was a huge milestone for Zoe, with the premiere of the 36-year-old’s show.
Tweeting as the show aired, the mum-of-one was overwhelmed by the positive reaction from fans across the nation.
Jokingly, she tweeted, “Thanks for watching and tweeting and enjoying and professing your NEVER-ENDING AND TOTAL DEVOTION TO #thewronggirl you guys. Till next Wed!”
Meanwhile, we’re guessing there was another highlight in the Foster-Blake household, with Zoe’s hubby Hamish making his dramatic debut as The Wrong Girl’s weatherman, Hamilton.
“I’ve been trying for years to seduce the creator of this show as she’s my favourite author,” the funnyman joked about his most high profile acting role to date.
“Hopefully my very, very, very small role in her show as a weatherman will do the trick.”
