Jennifer Lawrence is a girl on fire! At least, when it comes to raking in the cash.
The actress has topped Forbes’ list of highest paid female actors for the second year running.
Star of The Hunger Games franchise, Jennifer is leading Hollywood women when it comes to pay in 2016, earning a whopping $46 million USD in the past 12 months before tax.
But although she’s still on top, the earnings mark an 11.5 per cent drop from her 2015 pay.
Watch Jen talk about her steamy scenes in her upcoming flick with Chris Pratt in the clip below. Post continues.
Runner up on the list was Melissa McCarthy, a huge jump up from her placing last year.
Melissa earned $33 million USD in 2016, a huge $10 million more than last year.
Her big leap is in part from her paycheck from the much talked about Ghostbusters reboot.
Rounding out the top three spots was Captain America: Civil War star Scarlett Johanssen, racking up $25 million USD.
And while that sounds like a lot, it’s actually down 30 per cent on her 2015 earnings.
The rest of the top ten include Jennifer Aniston, Fan Bingbing, Charlize Theron, Amy Adams, Julia Roberts, Mila Kunis and Deepika Padukone.
But even though 26-year-old Jennifer might have been top of the list when it comes to acting, she might want to try her hand at singing if she wants to earn more.
Taylor Swift sat at the top of the Forbes list of the world’s highest paid celebrities, walking away with a massive $170 million, way more than double what Jennifer took home.
Time for a singing career, JLaw?
