Evidently, love is Jen Aniston’s colour!
The Friends star made it very clear in a telling new interview with Harper’s Bazaar that she and her new hubby, Justin Theroux, are still very much in the honeymoon phase, eight months on from their secret wedding.
“Married life is so normal and fun and not much different,” she told the publication in its April issue, adding: “We felt married for so long.”
So what’s the secret, why does Jen deem her marriage to be so very enjoyable? Probably because she considers her 44-year-old hubby to be the “funniest person” she’s ever come across.
“I’m lucky because Justin is the funniest person I’ve met, and we make each other laugh,” she quipped. “Laughter is one of the great keys to staying youthful.”
And her feelings were reciprocated by the Zoolander 2 actor in an interview with Loaded last month.
“It’s a laugh a minute,” he told the magazine. “When we get on a run, it’s pretty fun. There’s been a couple of times when she has brought me to my knees laughing and me her.”
The blonde beauty also touched on her new and improved diet and exercise regime, as it’s no secret that Jen looks absolutely incredible at this time in her life.
In order to maintain her incredible figure, she admits to working out five days a week, resisting the temptations of a sugary diet (bar guacamole and margaritas, obviously), and packing in a healthy, balanced diet of leafy greens and lean proteins.
In the feature photo spread, Jen stands tall on what appears to be the edge of an infinity pool, donning a black, figure-hugging Versace gown with cut-out panels and gold hardware.
“I feel better in my ’40s,” she said of her age. “Not only do you feel better in your body physically, but you’re mentally better.”
“Because, say, in your 20s, you didn’t know s–it. For me, in my 30s I was just trying to figure it all out. Then when you hit 40, you’re like, ‘Oh, okay. I got this.’”
