After spending almost three decades in the public eye, Jennifer Aniston knows a thing or two about keeping her private life private – but her marriage to Justin Theroux took even the guests by surprise.
Pictures obtained by TMZ shows the backyard of the couple’s Bel Air mansion decked out with stunning table settings and guests in formal wear.
A wedding cake can be seen being delivered while a Pastor was spotted heading into the pair’s house before the ceremony.
Among the guests were close friends, Ellen DeGeneres, Lisa Kudrow and Howard Stern, who were all snapped making their way into the festivities.
The wedding was kept firmly under wraps with a well-placed pal revealing to People: “Guests were told it was a birthday party for Justin. Jen and Justin wanted to surprise guests, and guests were certainly surprised.”
They added: “Jen has been very good at keeping her wedding planning secret. Only her closest confidants knew that the party was actually a surprise wedding.”
The duo even built a large shed on their property to hide the wedding furniture in in the days prior to the ceremony, so guests did not expect a thing!
Jen and Justin boarded a private jet a day after the ceremony presumably to head to their honeymoon!
A day after the nuptials the newlyweds were again pictured boarding a private jet, assumed to be heading to their honeymoon destination and judging by their outfits, it looks like they’re going somewhere warm!
US Weekly report the newlyweds are off to Bora Bora with a group of good pals, including Chelsea.
Jen’s closest pal Courtney Cox and her daughter Coco also boarded the plane along with the couple to help kick start the celebrations.
