Karl and Jasmine Stefanovic managed to escape to the country in the nick of time before Sydney’s lockdown restrictions took hold.
With their daughter Harper in tow and a group of friends to share wine with, the family enjoyed tractor rides, horses, and good food.
Jasmine posted a photo dump from the trip, which included many snaps with friends, their children and one adorable moment between Jasmine, Harper and a curious horse.
She simply captioned the dump with a series of animal emojis and a hashtag to confirm with fans the occasion that occurred before restrictions were ordered.
“🦆🐴🐄🐓🐑🐖 #beforelockdown,” posted Jasmine.
Sam Armytage, who lives in the countryside with her husband Richard Lavender, commented that the family should have popped in for a visit.
“You guys should have dropped in. 🐎 🚜 🍷 x,” wrote Sam.
Jasmine wrote back that her family would be thrilled for a country trip to Sam’s house and that they would have made it if it weren’t for Covid.
“@sam_armytage next time for sure we would love that!! We had to come back for the lockdown. 😘,” she said.
Sam was famously a Sunrise Show host on Channel Seven, and Karl is a host on Channel Nine’s Today show.
Their pending country trip will be the perfect merge of Australia’s two most prominent TV personalities, and we bet they will have heaps of insider news to talk about.
Yesterday, Jasmine shared some videos and pictures on her Instagram story from the brief holiday.
In one video, Karl is driving a tractor that they rode to some stables, and it seemed the presenter took to the job quite well, as Jasmine, Harper and her friend Vanessa and her son wooed Karl on.
The proud mother and wife also posted a video of Karl introducing Harper to a horse, and they both look calm and in awe of the creature.
Jasmine captioned the video, “Country life before lockdown.”

On the same day, Jasmine excitedly shared a picture of Harper riding a pony for the first time, as her father looked on to keep a close eye on her.
