Former Home And Away star Jake Ryan is engaged to his fiancee and baby mama, Alice Quiddington.
The actor announced his exciting news on Thursday evening, taking to Instagram to share a loved-up snap with his Alice.
In the snap, Jake plants a kiss on his wife to-be’s cheek as she flashes her diamond sparkler to the camera.
“GRAPPA ALL ROUND- stick a fork in me 💍💍💍 @alice__q,” Jake, who played Robbo Shaw on the long-running soapie from 2017 until 2020, captioned the shot.
Alice, who works as an interior designer/stylist and DJ, shared the same photo and mused: “Future hubby 💍 @jakey__ryan.”
Jake’s post was quickly flooded with messages of congratulations from his former Home And Away colleagues and famous friends.
“Babe! Congratulations xxx amazing news xx,” Emily Weir said.
“JAKEY!!! Congratulations!!! Thrilled for you! Marriage is ace! I look forward to meeting your beautiful fiancé Alice one day soon:) ❤️xxx,” Penny McNamee exclaimed.
“YEAH BABY! CONGRATS GUYS SO BLOODY EXCITING XXXXXXXX,” Sophie Dillman beamed.
“The best news!!! Congratulations to both of u ❤️,” Ada Nicodemou penned.
Alice and Jake went public with their romance in January 2019 and are the proud parents to one-year-old son Wolf, who they welcomed in October 2019.
“IN THIS LIFE!!! ‘Be still, my beating heart’ WOLF RYAN….mind blowing experience… @alice__q was phenomenal and recovering well. Superwomen ♥️♥️” the actor wrote at the time of his son’s arrival.
“A big Thankyou to all the nurses, doctors, midwifes and support staff at Randwick women’s hospital. Amazing amazing team of humans that brought our little mate into the world.”
Jake departed Home And Away, with a tragic death after a dramatic car crash, in 2020 and since then, has been loving focusing his attention on his young family.
“It’s not an easy road; fatherhood or parenthood. But it’s the most rewarding and beautiful time. I’ve loved every second of it,” he explained to the Daily Mail.
Despite the sleep deprivation, the 37-year-old admitted raising his boy was a “beautiful and rewarding” journey.
“My days are just consumed with him, and everything that you sort of do for life is about your child now which is great. It’s nice to have that, to have someone else to work towards, apart from yourself,” he reflected.
Aside from planning a wedding, the star’s also just wrapped his latest project – a New Zealand film called Savage, which dropped on Stan in January.
