Gigi’s rep confirmed the news to E! on Saturday saying, “Cody and Gigi want each other to be in a place right now that allows him to only focus on his music, fans, and new message, while she can focus and continue building her career.”

“They love each other dearly and have split up in hopes that growing on their own paths will bring them together in the future,” the Vogue cover girl’s rep said.

However the spokesperson insisted there is no bad blood: “They remain friends with no hard feelings and each other’s biggest supporters.” It’s not the first road block the pair have encountered after briefly splitting in May last year.

20 year-old Gigi and 18-year-old Cody seemed to be the King and Queen of young Hollywood with newly successful careers, a slew of famous friends and jaw-dropping good looks, however it wasn’t to be.

On Sunday Gigi was spotted heading out for a sun-drenched stroll around Franklin Canyon Park in LA with the one and only Taylor Swift.

The ladies looked deep in conversation with Swifty no doubt dishing endless amounts of safe advice.
