Iman has remembered her late husband, David Bowie, with a never-before-seen picture.
The black-and-white image, which marks what would have been the couple’s 25th wedding anniversary, captures the couple mid-dance.
“With you went so much of me #BowieForever,” the supermodel wrote alongside the touching image.
She added: “April 24th #BowieForever.”
Iman and the “Let’s Dance” singer were married for 24 years before the music icon sadly passed away after battling liver cancer on 10 January 2016.
Prior to his passing, Iman took part in OWN’s Oprah: Where Are They Now? series and said the secret to a lasting marriage was timing.
“You have to be at the right time in your life that you’re ready for an everlasting relationship, that it becomes first, a priority in life” she said.
“If your career is important to you, don’t get married and have children, because something will give.”
She added, “’I know as women we want to be able to have it all, but we can’t have it all at the same time.
“So make your priority of what you want at that time. And sometimes you don’t even have to get married. Why do you have to get married?”
She also joked, “People say, ‘But do you give him fashion tips?’ What are you, crazy? We’re talking about David Bowie. He is fashion.”
Iman and David had one daughter together, Alexandria Zahra Jones — the half-sibling to David’s son Duncan, 44, from his first marriage to Mary Angela Barnett.
Since welcoming Lexi in 2000, David and Iman lived a quiet life in their luxurious apartment in New York, keeping their daughter out of the spotlight.
“I am not married to David Bowie – I am married to David Jones [his real name]. They are two totally different people. We never have photographs taken in our apartment, we never do fashion shoots together,” Iman once mused of their approach to separating show business and family.
Friends close to the late singer say the birth of Lexi changed wild child David for the better.
“He missed out on much of Zowie’s [Duncan] young life, and wanted to spend as much time as possible with Lexi,” David’s biographer David Buckley once explained.
Lexi, now well into her teenage years, is rumoured to share an incredible likeness with her late father.
