It’s the wedding on EVERYONE’S lips.
And now American radio host Howard Stern, who was one of the few lucky people to land an invite, is lifting the lid on the couples’ big day.
On Monday during his SiriusXM* radio show, the 61-year-old dished about the top-secret August 5th wedding to his listeners.
“They’re so secretive those two. They contacted us and said, ‘Please don’t tell anyone,'” he explained.
Howard is the first celebrity guest to speak about the night’s festivities and it sounds like the wedding of a lifetime.
He shut down speculation that Iron Man star Robert Downey Jr. gave a speech by revealing the actor wasn’t even in attendance, before admitting he in fact made a toast.
“I’m very friendly with Justin. I like him very much, I really admire him,” Howard admitted, adding that he’d be “pleased” if his own daughters brought home a “guy like him.”
Before explaining his ten minute diatribe was mostly him “whining” about being “miserable” in the backyard seating.
“They had these little tiny chairs. There was a table, and then you sit down and the chairs were like poufs, like little pillow poufs,” he laughed, adding, “I’m a grown man!”
Other A-list attendees included talk show powerhouse Ellen DeGeneres, Jen’s Friends co-star Courteney Cox and actress Sandra Bullock.
Meanwhile, Howard also joked about the fact the newlyweds made guests lock away their phones to prevent images leaking to the media.
“‘I don’t want to take a picture of you two! I really don’t. I want my cell phone so after I make this speech I can call my car and get the f— outta here,” he said on air as he re-hashed his speech.
“People were laughing at my misery,” he quipped.
The night was made incredibly special with long-time friend and talk show host Jimmy Kimmel officiating the wedding.
“Jim was the preacher, you know the guy who did the ceremony. He did a great job, you know, he did a beautiful job,” Howard said
The shock jock was seated with Ellen, her wife, Portia de Rossi and Orlando Bloom. And it seems like Howard had no idea he was chatting away to one of Hollywood’s leading heartthrobs.
“He’s like better-looking than Johnny Depp, Brad Pitt and Tom Cruise all rolled into one,” Howard admitted. “So I’m sitting talking to this guy – interesting dude. We’re hitting it off and talking for a long time. I said, ‘What is your name?’ He says, ‘Orlando.'”
Like the rest of the world, Howard was smitten over the “nice guy’s” good looks and was concerned Orlando would have a new romantic conquest every 15 minutes.
“I said to him at one point, ‘This must be tough for you to be at this wedding. He said, ‘You know, you’re right.'”
Orlando’s good looks even earned him a special dance with the radio host. “Sia was there and she sang, it was very romantic, it was their [Jen and Justin’s] first dance.
“So I run to Orlando and say, ‘Orlando, first dance.’ So Orlando grabbed me so tight, I thought my bones were going to break.”
Wowsers, we are suffering some serious fomo right now!
