Just as we were coming to terms with Married At First Sight‘s Alex Garner and Zoe Hendrix’s shock split, news has emerged that 2016 Bachelor winner Alex Nation has parted ways with her fiancee, Maegan Luxa.
According to a friend speaking to the Daily Mail Australia, the ladies have decided to end their engagement.
“Apparently Maegan didn’t take it too well,” the insider tells the website.
‘People told me [they were over].”
“So I asked her friend who said she was ‘single now’. Then others were saying the same,” the source adds.
While neither Alex or Maegan have confirmed the reports, tellingly the last photo of Maegan on Alex’s Instagram page was back in December.
The break-up claims come off the back of recent photos showing Alex cuddling up to handsome male model Harrison Luna in Melbourne last month.
The pair were seen cuddling up to one another several times during the night, and even exchanged numbers in full view of bystanders.
“They barely left each other’s side,” an onlooker told Woman’s Day at the time.
“At one point they were whispering to one another and he had his hands wrapped around her waist.”
Although Alex, who rose to fame thanks to her ill-fated romance with Richie Strahan on The Bachelor, insisted she was just saying hi to a friend.
Now To Love have reached out to both Alex and Maegan for comment.
Onlookers were surprised by how intimate they were.
