Despite separating two years ago and officially divorcing in July of this year, Gwynnie – who happens to be the epitome of ex-couple goals – says that she still maintains a strong bond with Coldplay frontman Chris, 39.
In the February issue of InStyle magazine, the 44-year-old actress has opened up about the closeness she still shares with Chris as they continue to co-parent their two children, Apple, 12, and Moses, 10.
“He’s at my house every single day,” Paltrow told the publication. “We have our own lives but we still have our family life.”
“To this day, Chris would take a bullet for me, even though I’m not his wife,” she revealed.
Speaking of their famed “conscious uncoupling” the beauty-guru said, “I honestly think Chris and I have contributed something positive to the culture of divorce.”
The Goop CEO added, “It was such a difficult time in my life and I was trying so hard to protect my children and my family, Chris included. We were both fragile. It was really tough. To me it felt like this is a quiet way to do this and it is contained.”
After “consciously uncoupling” from her musician husband, Chris, Gwyn began dating TV producer Brad Falchuk, who she met on the set of Glee, in 2014.
By all reports, the pair have been inseparable since they first revealed they were an item.
The director and producer spoke for the first time about his relationship with the actress in late 2015 on the red carpet for the film, Scream Queens, revealing that things were going “very great” with Gwyn.
“She’s awesome. That’s what everybody loves about her,” Brad, 45, later said at the recent premiere of the new season of his show, American Horror Story: Hotel.
Earlier in December, Gwyn was spotted wearing a huge sparkler on her ring finger sparking speculation that she might actually be engaged to Brad.
If she is, we have no doubt Chris will be among the first to know!
