The Celebrity Name Game host will be hitting the airwaves as part of a Sydney summer breakfast program with a brand spanking new co-host, Yvie Jones from Gogglebox.

โ€œIโ€™m still working with SCA [Hit Network] and weโ€™ve got some great projects coming up over the summer, which is fantastic because I love radio,โ€ Grant told Now To Love.

โ€œI had an absolute blast with that radio show [Grant, Ed and Ash] and I wouldnโ€™t change it for the world, so itโ€™s really cool to be able to some stuff with SCA and do things like summer breakfast.โ€

Grant admitted that the appeal of being on air was the fact that โ€œradio is loose, fast, wild and freeโ€.

While the axing was a shock, the 42-year-old took it in his stride and turned his focus to his wife Chezzi and their two daughters, Sailor, eight, Scout, four.

โ€œI want my focus, now that I have a little bit more breathing room in my life, on actually just being a better father and partner. I just want to be around the girls more, I want to do school pick-ups. I teaching myself how to cook properly and just be the guy I kind of always wanted to be but never had the time to be,โ€ Grant explained.

โ€œIโ€™m putting it into the family at the moment because theyโ€™ve sacrificed a lot with me being away with radio and TV and I owe it to them, to put some time back into them.โ€

โ€œIโ€™ve seen this thing,โ€ Grant said of the monument.

โ€œIt is enormous. Itโ€™ll almost dwarf the entire Opera House and itโ€™s such a great place to be already. If you gather the family and want something fun to do for the school holidays then itโ€™s the perfect chance to see something out of this world!โ€

The best thing of all? Free chocolate. But if youโ€™re a Crunchie fun, youโ€™ll have to fight Grant for it!
