Well, itโs finally happened folks! Georgia Love and Lee Elliott have tied the knot in a gorgeous ceremony โ and theyโre the happiest, punniest husband and wife there ever was.
The pair were pipped at the alter numerous times throughout the past 12 months as the COVID-19 pandemic continued, but finally, on a sunny autumn day, the time was right.
The pair shared the first snaps from their special day on Instagram today, with Georgia writing: โIt was always you โจ 05.03.21โ
She also added her official wedding hashtag, which of course was a very on brand pun โ#aloveleeweddingโ
In the images, the pair are seen walking from the aisle sharing a kiss, presumably straight after the ceremony. Cute!

Lee shared the same image on his own Instagram, writing, โWe did a thing!โ
(Instagram)Georgiaโs dress was also a sight to behold โ the 31-year-old wore a stunning strapless design featuring a plunging v-cut down the front.
Wearing her hair in a gorgeous, effortless up-do, Georgia finished the look with a bright white floral bouquet.

The pair have been waiting to celebrate their wedding for a long time.
(Instagram)The road to their wedding hasnโt been smooth sailing.
The pair met on the set of The Bachelorette in 2017, and were engaged two years later in September 2019.
The pair had originally planned to wed in Sicily, Italy, but the COVID-19 pandemic had other ideas.
As the world went into various states of lockdown, their hopes for a dreamy European wedding were dashed, and ultimately became the clincher in bringing everything back on Aussie shores.
Then, the pair decided Tasmania was their alternative dream wedding destination.
Of course, with several different state lockdowns and with everything in flux as community cases of COVID cropped up, the pair were forced to reschedule their wedding numerous times.
But finally, they made it to the alter.

The pair were engaged in September 2019.
Shortly before their wedding, the couple also announced they purchased a house together.
Again, taking to their Instagram accounts, Georgia and Lee shared the happy news with their shared cat in tow.
โBecause launching two businesses and planning two weddings during a global pandemic wasnโt stressful, interesting or financially draining enough, we thought, โwhy not buy a house too?โโ Georgia comically quipped.
Lee added his own two cents: โAdulting [uh-duhlt-ing] verb. Mimicking things you see real adults do in an attempt to trick people into believing you are a responsible member of society. So anyway, we just purchased our first house together.โ

Georgia and Lee purchased their first house together in December 2020.
(Instagram)Now, as they move into their next chapter as husband and wife, we canโt only imagine the clever puns theyโll be coming up with to reflect their married life.
A big congratulations to the happy Bachelorette couple!
