When a friend asks you to be part of her bridal party, it’s always an exciting time. But it’s especially exciting when the bride and her groom are one of reality TV’s cutest love stories.
Over the weekend, former Bachelorette Georgia Love officially asked her nearest and dearest gal pals to be her bridesmaids, and we doubt you’ll be surprised when you find out who the maid of honour is.
Taking to Instagram, the TV journalist and former reality star shared a photo of herself and her five bridesmaids as they celebrated over a fancy lunch that looks like something fresh off a Pinterest board.
“Bride tribe, ASSEMBLE!! The very best day asking my very best friends to stand with me as I say “I do” to the man of my dreams. Also to hold my dress while I pee 💁🏼♀️ Bride mode activated!!! #bastfrands #bridetribe #loveleewedding,” the bride-to-be penned.
We knew that wedding hashtag would be punny!
Georgia spoiled her bridesmaids-to-be with an assortment of thoughtful gifts for the celebration including wooden photo frames with photos of each friend inside, personalised champagne flutes and novelty mugs.
Can we be part of the bridal party too Georgia?

The party consists of Georgia’s older sister Katie, whom Georgia was maid of honour to last year along with her friends Steph Anderson, Emma Crawford, Jess Goodear and Elizabeth Anile.
Close friend Emma shared a sweet tribute on her own Instagram account including a picture of the two from the weekend celebrations, captioning it, “My all time best friend is getting married! And I’m beyond excited that I will be standing with her when she marries the man of her dreams ☺️ after 30 years of friendship I’m honoured to still be considered one of @georgiealove’s besties and I’m so excited to be part of such a brilliant bride tribe! Bring on the @bacheloretteau party! #bridesmaid #bestie #bestfish #loveislove.”
Blogger and journalist Elizabeth also shared a sweet Instagram dedication captioning it, “Some corny quote says ‘one doesn’t measure friendship by length of time only, depth of time is just as valuable’ and if that doesn’t sum up my friendship with my beautiful bestie @georgiealove, not sure what will!”
“I may not have been in her life as long as some of the other girls she’s picked for her bride tribe, but my god have we gone through the wringer together, we’ve lived a thousand lifetimes in the last 5 years, and through every obstacle life has thrown at us, our friendship has only grown and strengthened, and I feel like I’ve known her a lifetime!”
“I’m so incredibly grateful to have her love in my life and I can’t BLOODY WAIT to stand by her side when she marries the man I deemed “too hot” for her to pick when I watched them meet on The Bachelorette (cc: @leeroyelliott). Bring on the hens…. then the wedding!!!!”
Georgia Love and her fiance Lee Elliott famously met back in 2016 on the set of The Bachelorette and have since become one of the franchise’s cutest couples.
The pair announced their engagement in September via Instagram, and it was revealed that Lee popped the question aboard the very same boat the couple had their first date.
Bring on that Bachie wedding!
