Die-hard Friends fans will remember a specific episode in season one, where Phoebe, Monica and Rachel indulge in a drunken girls night.
Titled The One with George Stephanopoulos, the ladies drink margaritas, order pizza (with George Stephanopoulos’ order coming to their door instead) and talk about their plans for the future.
And now, life has imitated art with Jennifer Aniston, Courteney Cox and Lisa Kudrow coming together for a “girls night” – and could we be anymore excited?
Courteney was the first to take to Instagram to share a picture with her girl squad.
“Trying to figure out what to say on Instagram….#gotnothing #friends #girlsnight,” she captioned the post.
Lisa, who played ditzy masseuse Phoebe, also shared a fab photo, proving that three actresses haven’t aged a day!
“Halfway there… #girlsnight #?” she captioned the post.
Of course, fans of the show flocked to the comments with their excitement of the night.
“Did you get George Stephanopoulos’ pizza by accident?” one fan asked, while another said: “The One Where They Broke The Internet Again 💕”
Clearly not knowing where the night would take them, a comment from another user basically won the internet.
“So you don’t even have a pla…?” they asked, referring to one of the best quotes of the episode.
The Friends ladies weren’t the only ones to hit the headlines this week.
Co-star, Matthew Perry who played Chandler Bing on the hit sitcom stepped out in New York and was photographed for the first time in two years, looking unrecognisable.
Wearing a stained T-shirt and long fingernails, people were shocked to see the 49-year-old out and about.
But it was his beard and talons which drew the most attention, when a media outlet called him “dirty and unkempt”.
Not one to ever back away from some sarcasm or a response, Perry took to Twitter.
Responding to his Tweet, account Friends TV said: “Stick to what you know,” accompanied by THIS hilarious scene:
While it’s clear that Perry still has a sense of humour, his life has been anything less than funny.
In February, Matthew, who has previously battled a drug and alcohol addiction, sparked concerns when he Tweeted to fans that he had been “kicked out of therapy”.
After fans expressed their concern, he added another Tweet.
“Easy guy, it was just one session. I’m back in therapy where I belong:) [sic].”
We hope that he’s getting the help he needs and maybe one day, we can get a full Friends reunion!
