“It is disgraceful”: Fifi Box slams fallen health guru Belle Gibson

Founder of The Whole Pantry app Belle Gibson has finally admitted what was long suspected – she never had cancer. And now, Fifi Box has come out hitting at the disgraced social media personality.

On Thursday morning, Fifi admitted on the Fifi & Dave Breakfast Show on 101.9 she had fallen for Belle’s movement and even tried out her recipes.

“I bought the app! I was making her recipes! And just for health, obviously, I’m not battling any medical condition or illness,” the mother-of-one fumed.

“You believe these people… She’s just been avoiding everyone now she has finally spoken.”

The 38-year-old went on to express her concern for people with genuine sicknesses who had been duped by Belle.

“I’m so upset on behalf of people with legitimate illnesses and diseases and more so for the people who have gone and believed her.

“Because let’s be honest, people have probably made choices about their lives and their health based on her advice. Some people may have actually passed away,” Fifi gravely pointed out.

The usually upbeat personality went on to slam Belle for trying to blame the fact she had a hard childhood as an excuse for her momentous deception.

“It is disgraceful. I know the Victorian Police have dropped this but I don’t think they should. I think she needs to be made accountable. This interview isn’t being accountable.”

“It’s saying ‘But I had a tough childhood.’ You didn’t – you had to do the grocery shopping! It’s not good enough!”

“I’m so, so angry at this girl. She has absolutely led people, vulnerable people, looking for answers, hoping to save their own lives with her fictitious tales of having cancer.”

Earlier in the week the embroiled entrepreneur finally broke her silence and confessed to *The Australian Women’s Weekly” she had built her brand on a lie.

When blatantly questioned if she’d ever had cancer, Gibson responded: “No. None of it’s true.”

Despite her massive social media following, a book deal and popular health app, Belle’s reputation came crashing down in March after she was accused of overstating her company’s total donations to a range of different charities. Soon after, friends raised the alarm over the legitimacy of her illness.
