Earlier this month, former Hi-5 star Lauren Brant’s ex-fiance, Warren Riley, revealed exclusively to Woman’s Day he was no longer with the children’s entertainer after finding out she had an affair with Beau Ryan.
Lauren confessed to Warren that she had slept with the hunky NRL larrikin on more than one occasion when they starred together in the Sydney theatre production of Aladdin and his Wondrous Lamp in July.
Beau hasn’t addressed the scandal directly and has instead taken some time away from Channel Nine’ s The Footy Show show to address “personal issues.”
However on Monday night, the 30-year-old’s co-star Erin Molan confirmed to the Daily Mail Australia at the Dally M Awards that Beau and Kara are still very much a couple and will both be attending The Footy Show‘s season finale on Thursday evening.
“We miss Beau, it’ll be lovely to have him back. We’ve missed him,” the 33-year-old said on the red carpet.
“I’m really close with Beau and his wife Kara so it’s obviously been a really rough time for him. It’ll be nice to have them back. It’s been a rough time but Beau will be back and bring his usual spark and flair and it’ll be fun,” she explained to the website.
Earlier this week, the troubled footy star spoke to the Daily Telegraph about his hiatus from The Footy Show.
“I’ve been away addressing some personal issues. Since returning from a holiday [in America] I have been overwhelmed by the support we have received. I’m very much looking forward to getting back to work on Thursday with the rest of the guys.”
Prior to his affair with Lauren, Beau and wife Kara appeared to have the perfect marriage, madly in love and the proud parents to their two-year-old daughter Remi.
