Sarah Snook won an Emmy in January 2024. (Image: Getty)

Due to the 2023 SAG-AFTRA strikes, so many big names in Hollywood petitioned for better work, so the event was postponed and the 75th Emmy Awards were held in January 2024.

Key winners from January’s ceremony included Australia’s own Sarah Snook who won Lead Actress in a drama series for her role in Succession.

Other winners included Kieran Culkin, Jeremy Allen White, Quinta Brunson, Matthew Macfadyen, Jennifer Coolidge, Ebon Moss-Bachrach, and Ayo Edebiri.

Meanwhile, the shows that swept the awards were Succession, The Bear, Beef, White Lotus, and Abbott Elementary.
