Nearly three years since announcing her break-up from husband and Purple Wiggle Lachlan Gillespie, Yellow Wiggle Emma Watkins is set to tie the knot again.
On Monday evening, the much-loved children’s entertainer took to Instagram to confirm her engagement to boyfriend and Wiggles band member Oliver Brian.
“When life gets more sparkly ✨💍❤️,” the singer beamed alongside a loved-up snap with her husband to-be.
In the photo, Emma cuts a casual figure in a buttoned-up red dress, a high bun and black-rimmed glasses as she shows off her stunning diamond sparkler while Oliver proudly cuddles up to his newly-minted fiancée.
The engagement announcement also marks the first public Instagram post Emma has shared of her partner.
The 31-year-old has been dating Oliver, who is also a back-up musician in The Wiggles, since 2019 but has kept their romance away from the spotlight.
Emma’s ex-husband Lachlan Gillespie, who is now engaged to Wiggles dancer Dana Stephensen, was one of the first to congratulate the pair on their happy news.
“Love you guys,” Lachy said with a slew of purple love heart emojis.

(Image: Instagram)While the singer rarely talks about her love life, she previously confessed to Stellar that she was indeed “in love” with her colleague and had known the musician for four years before he asked her out on a dinner date.
“He’s very opposite to me,” she told the publication.
“He’s a very calm and thoughtful person and I’ve always been interested in his mind and his take on life, and his morals. He loves talking about the environment and food production. It’s not very ‘Wiggly’, but it’s been nice for me to talk about things not just concerning ourselves, but people everywhere around the world.”
Emma and Lachy tied the knot in 2016 but split two years after their wedding, the pair remain close friends.
