It was the ultimate Aussie soapie star wedding of our dreams – and we didn’t even know it was happening!
Over the weekend, former Home and Away and Neighbours stars, Bob Morley and Eliza Taylor, announced via their respective Twitter accounts that they had tied the knot.
The pair, who have starred on US drama The 100 since 2014, have had legions of fans “shipping them” to get together based on their on-screen chemistry.
Little did they know, that the couple were not only dating, but they were engaged to be married.
Taking to her Twitter account on Saturday, Eliza wrote:
“Recently I married my best friend and soul mate @WildpipM We are very happy and ask that you keep your comments kind and respect our privacy at this time ❤️”, followed by a beautiful wedding photograph.
Her new husband also Tweeted at the same time:
“It is with such a full heart that I call @MisElizaJane my wife This is something we both cherish very deeply and are beyond happy. Please remember to be respectful and kind to one another. Be well be kind,” he wrote.
The couple were wed at the Manana Hills Estate in Hawaii, officiated by Reverend James Chun on May 6, 2019.
Taking to Instagram, Rvd Chun wrote:
“What an honor to officiate over the ceremony of two amazing souls. So warm and tender with one another. Congratulations Eliza + Bob.”
Bobby Morley and Eliza Taylor were married in a surprise wedding on May 6 in Hawaii.
