Remember that lavish party the loved-up duo threw for New Year’s Eve? Well, it seems Miley Cyrus, 24, and Liam Hemsworth, 26, used their everything-gold celebration for more than just ringing in the New Year.
According to NW magazine, the much-loved couple used the lavish affair as an excuse to say “I do” in front of all their friends and family.
In hindsight, it seems obvious that the couple would choose New Year’s Eve for their nuptials – after all, both families were united at the time spending the holidays together in San Diego.
Fans have been quick to speculate that Miley herself may have confirmed the news with a cryptic upload to Instagram.
On the night, Miley posted a photo with the hashtag “in laws”, featuring Liam and Chris’s mum, Leonie Hemsworth, with her mum, Tish Cyrus, and with Liam’s brother Chris Hemsworth’s wife Elsa Pataky’s mum Cristina Pataky Medianu.
As Woman’s Day previously reported, they also hope to move to Oz eventually.
“Miley has loved her trips down under, and she’s become incredibly close to Elsa,” a source explained.
“She is really envious of the laid-back life they led in Byron Bay and would love to try living there for a while.”
Meanwhile, the couple have been busy catching up with both sides of their families over the December holidays.
On Christmas, Miley’s older sister Brandi, 29, shared a group shot of her loved ones, including younger sister Noah, singer Miley Cyrus, her partner Liam, mum Tish, dad Billy Ray Cyrus and their sons Noah, Trace and Braison.
In the snap, 24-year-old Miley stands in the centre in a brightly-coloured dressing gown giving the two thumbs up.
Two adorable dogs also made the cut but it was Aussie actor Liam Hemsworth that truly stole the show.
Looking a little left out, the 26-year-old stands at the end of the line-up with his hands crossed and his lips pursed.
It didn’t take long for fans to comment on the hilarious pic.
“Liam looks so out of place,” one user noted.
“He’s a cardboard cutout, right?” Another added.
“Liam is like ‘I’m a Cyrus, but not really,'” someone else joked.
But not everyone agreed. “Oh my goodness, Miley and Liam, you are the perfect couple in the whole world,” a fan penned.
Since rekindling their romance a year ago, Miley and Liam have been inseparable.
The couple are yet to officially confirm the nuptials and while this mightn’t be the first Cyrus-Hemsworth wedding rumour to explode online we have our fingers crossed!
